In this work, Wirya Budaghi unites various materials, knowledge, and images, shaping them into a performative experience within an intimate time-space. This will focus on the resistance and resilience of human bodies in the present and future within a specific context. The performance features the introduction of elements from nature, along with rhythm and movements, which communicate and illustrate the emotionality and aesthetics of battle, struggle, and healing. This evokes a sense of collective movement and a new era of struggle for the performative space, transformed by intimacy and (in)visibility.

Through the performative time-framing and experience that Wirya shares, the audience will have the opportunity to traverse a path with Wirya, engaging with the vulnerability of space and the (un)breakable nature of words, text, and body. This journey conveys concern, worry, and care within the context. Throughout the performance, Wirya’s brother, Wefa Budaghi, will play the Def, an ancient instrument from Kurdistan. This musical accompaniment will create a dynamic atmosphere conducive to the sharing of knowledge and the continuation of cultural struggle. It will form performative responses, reflection, and resonance of the rhythm of displacement of art and knowledge within the space.
